All Canadian Ski Quest participants must sign a waiver prior to registering and paying for their Canadian Ski Quest camp.

 

All Canadian Ski Quest coaching staff have been trained in administering the Canadian Ski Quest accident protocol.

 

All coaching staff are familiar with Red Mountain terrain and carry the Red Mountain Ski Patrol phone number.

 

In case of an accident, Canadian Ski Quest staff are trained to manage and secure the accident site and to assist in providing comfort to the injured party.

 

First Aid will be provided by the Red Mountain Ski Patrol.  Red Mountain Ski Patrol will assume primary care for the injured party and will take responsibility for transportation to Trail regional hospital if required.

 

Depending on the severity of the injury the injured party’s emergency contact person will be contacted by a Canadian Ski Quest representative.  Canadian Ski Quest will provide support to the injured party as needed.
